Intermountain Building

Built 1892. Headquarters of the Daily Intermountain Newspaper, which was purchased by the Anaconda Company in 1901 and operated it until 1913; purchased by H.J. Durston who ran it as the Butte Daily Post; operated in this building until 1923. Occupied later by Fraternal Order of Eagles. Destroyed by fire in 1978.
