Categories are self organizing pages. You can edit a category page but only the top part. The alphabetical listing portion is generated automatically. In order to get your page included on the category page you need to put a reference on the page you wish to include, NOT on the Category page. At the bottom of the page you wish to include in the category put the following [[Category:The Name of the Category]].

If you want to link to the actual Category page you need to put a colon at the beginning of the internal link like this [[:Category:The Name of the Category]]
