This list is for common references, so that they will have the same format when used in various places. It is entirely possible that some references to these same sources may be inconsistent; please feel free to correct them. Feel free to make changes to these "standards" as well (there are some obvious inconsistencies among them, such as last-name-first vs. first-name-first), but if you do please try also to make that change on articles using these reference formats.
